This is a superb antique French fan.

Real tortoise shell delicately carved, Black lace from Chantilly, a town

in the north of Paris. The Imperatrice Eugénie made the Chantilly

lace on fashion again between 1850 and 1870.

Delivered in its old box, signed FAUCON PARIS, one of the best fan

makers !

 Dimensions: 61 x 32 cm.

 Period: 1850 - 1870.
