This is a lovely Art Nouveau pewter sugar bowl, stamped " JUVENTA PRIMA METAL " to base.
In 1889 Hans Peter became the head of the handicraft department at WMF, then he had his own factory.
Over the years the name of the factory and the goods they produced changed several times.
The pewterware that was marked "Juventa prima metal" was probably only produced from 1902 until 1908.
Dimensions: 18 x 8 cm Hight: 9 cm
Period: 1902 - 1908
Good condition, has been polished so it shines like silver !
