This is a superb antique porcelain vase.

 

Fontainebleau porcelain decorated in the Meissen Style.

 

Around 1830 - 1870, Jacob Petit had 2 porcelain factories,

one in Fontainebleau (south of Paris) and the other one in Paris, Belleville street.

 

This big vase is made of 3 parts.

It is decorated with insects and flowers.

 

Dimensions:    Hight: 27 cm   Diameter of the base: 15,5 cm

Weight: 1,960 kilogramme !

 

Period: 1850 - 1870

 

No repairs, but some chips on flowers.

This is rather discrete, good looking.
