This is a rare and big antique cup and saucer.
Paris porcelain chocolate cup !
Hand painted, inscribed in the gilding " Soins d'une tendre mère ".
Under the cup: " Dédié à Mme Chocardelle par la reconnaissance "
Handle with an Imperial Eagle, standing on 3 feet, this is typical of the French Empire period.
Dimensions:
Hight of the cup: 12,8 cm to the handle, 10 cm to top rim.
Diameter of the cup: 10,6 cm
Diameter of the saucer: 16,8 cm
Period: 1800 - 1810
VERY GOOD CONDITION
Only some gilt worn on the saucer because of the feet.
NO CHIP , NO CRACK , NO HAIRLINE , NO REPAIR
