This is a lovely antique box, inscribed "Sorrento" , a souvenir from Italy.

Olive wood, inlaid with micro mosaic, hand painted with sparrows.

In a shape of books.

A puzzle to get the key and to open the box !

Good general condition, base slightly twisted.
