Sevres bisque figure of a young girl by Edouard Houssin

This is a superb porcelain bisque " bust of a young girl".

 

This is a SEVRES porcelain, signed Edouard Houssin and dated 1892.

 

Edouard Houssin (1847- 1919) was a French Sculptor.

He was also professor at the National Manufacture of Sevres from 1894 till 1919.

 

This superb bisque is perfectly marqued, with the SEVRES stamp and with the incised marks of the workers.

 

Dimensions:  11 x 10 cm  Hight: 23 cm 

Period: dated 1934  (letter date g).

 

Very good condition,

Only a little paint under the chin, certainly when made.
