This is a superb French sculpture, a caricatured " Marianne ", inscribed RF (République Française) on base.
Coloured and patinated plaster, signed:
ADRIEN BARRERE (Artist name of Adrien Baneux, French artist 1877-1931).
This artist is known for his drawings and sculptures, representing caricatured people.
Some of them are in the musée d'Histoire urbaine et sociale in Suresnes (near Paris).
Dimensions: base: 16,5 x 15,5 cm hight: 34,5 cm
Period: 1900 - 1920
Good condition, little signs of age on base, nice colors and nice old patina.
