Jean Marie CAMUS (1877-1955)

Jean marie Camus was born in Clermont Ferrand then moved to Paris.

He exhibited at the Salon Des Artists Francais for the first time in 1905 where he won an award.

THIS STATUE IS FEATURED ON PAGE 52 OF CATLEY'S ART DECO AND OTHER FIGURES.

Bust of a child.

Gilt and brown bronze, signed and numbered 256.

Original edition stamped by the foundry LNJL : Les Neveux de jules Lehmann PARIS.

This bronze foundry edited bronzes for renowned artists such as Maurice Guiraud-Rivières, Demeter Chiparus etc ...

Base: 7 x 3,7 cm

Good condition, some little spots showing the age.
