Binocolo da Opera Teatro CHEVALLIER PARIS 1830 - 1840

This is a superb antique theater glasses.

Made of mother of pearl and engraved gilt brass.

French King Louis Philippe period.

It is engraved:

"L'Ing. Chevallier Breveté du Roi

Vis-à-vis le Marché aux Fleurs à Paris"

(Chevallier ingénieur opticien in Paris circa 1830)

Length: from 3 cm untill 8,5 cm.

Diameter: 4,3 cm

Weight: 98 grammes, a bit heavy in hands.

Period: 1830 - 1840

Good condition, good working order even if it is a bit hard to open and close.
