This is a superb and rare antique sauce boat.
XVIIIth century French earthenware, made in Rouen ( Normandy).
It is signed with the monogram LE, the artist is Letellier circa 1780.
Delicately hand painted in blue and red.
Dimensions: 21,5 x 12,5 cm ( 21,5 x 17,5 cm with the handles).
Hight: 5 cm
Period: 1770 - 1780
Good condition, only little glaze missings on top rim.
No cracks, no hairlines, no repairs.
